WWE TV Roundup #1 - We might make it at some point...

Welcome to my new blog series called ‘WWE TV Roundup’ which is my BRIEF look at what happened on WWE TV this week without the guff. Let me know what you think of this series and I will try my best to do this every Thursday or Friday where possible.
RAW ROUNDUP:
- Stephanie McMahon, Triple H and Vince McMahon announce a new all-women’s WWE PPV called “Evolution” which will air on October 28th 2018 on WWE Network.
- The B-Team retain their RAW Tag Team Championship against Wyatt & Hardy.
- Sasha Banks & Bayley are back to being friends and defeated some local talent
- Seth Rollins & Finn Bálor defeat Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre
- Roman Reigns won against Bobby Lashley to face Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam (This will be the 4th Singles that they have had since Wrestlemania 31)
Opinion: RAW was OK this week, if you can remove the constant shite talking about WWE Evolution. We know it’s happening but you do not need to shove it down our throats.
I am really pissed off that we are getting Roman vs Brock again but I don’t think many people wanted Bobby Lashley either. I think people just wants something different at the top of the WWE food chain. Lazy booking by WWE.
SMACKDOWN LIVE ROUNDUP:
- Randy cut a promo and is full on heel.
- Andrade “Cien” Almas defeated Rusev
- James Ellsworth has been fired
- Samoa Joe will face AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam
- SAnitY lose to The New Deal in the Tag Team Tournament
- Daniel Bryan interrupted The Miz’s promo for his new show Miz & Mrs.
OPINION: Randy is building some good heat and I would like to see where this goes come Summerslam.
James Ellsworth is better not being on TV…he literally added nothing to a meaningless title run of Carmella’s. Absolutely terrible. Brilliant decision by Paige.
I am happy that we are getting Joe vs Styles at Summerslam. Hmm, it’s like TNA all over again, but I will take this over Shinsuke anyway.
205 LIVE ROUNDUP:
- Drew Gulak is Cedric Alexander’s WWE Cruiserweight Championship #1 Contender.
OPINION: Gulak is a really cool wrestler and if we see this match on the Pre-show of Summerslam, then we should be in for a treat. Alexander is a fantastic worker and is well-deserving of being a champion. I would like to see some of the roster be used elsewhere if they are not being used on 205 Live but that is a subject for another day.

NXT ROUNDUP:
- Adam Cole defeats local talent
- Shayna Baszler and Kairi Sane sign their NXT Women’s Championship contract for TakeOver Brooklyn 4.
- Tommaso Ciampa defeats Alister Black to become the NEW NXT Champion!
OPINION: I am really happy that Ciampa is the NEW NXT Champion. Quite surprising that the took the belt off Black so soon before Brooklyn, so we can probably see Ciampa vs Gargano for the NXT Championship at Brooklyn. But I hope to see them debut on the main roster either after WM35 or hopefully after Survivor Series.
And the WWE Theme of the week goes to the newly departed James Ellsworth. God Speed Big Hog
I hope that you enjoyed reading this new WWE Roundup and all going well, I should be able to do another one next week!
