Welcome everyone to my 3rd Royal Rumble Predictions.
Previous predictions:
- 2016 – https://padraig.blog/wwe-royal-rumble-2016-predictions/
- 2017 – Part 1 – Part 2
This year is a historic year as the first Women’s Royal Rumble match takes place for a shot at the brand specific Women’s championship match at Wrestlemania 34!
If you do not know what the Royal Rumble is, let me explain. It is the name of the PPV but also a match type in WWE.
The Royal Rumble match is a “30-man over the top rope elimination match” where 2 superstars where ‘drew’ (Picked by WWE Producers) 1 & 2 enter the ring and start the Rumble. After 90 seconds, a new superstar enters the ring. Elimination occurs when a superstar is thrown over the top rope and both feet landing on the floor. The last person standing after all 30 members have entered the match will become the victor and will challenge the current champion on their specific brand (ie. RAW = Universal Championship, SmackDown = WWE Championship) in the Main Event of Wrestlemania.
In this first part, I am going to through whom has entered themselves in the Royal Rumble match and my predictions on who would appear in the Rumble and pick the winner. This applies for both men and women matches.

I was trying NOT to put many NXT one’s in there. I didn’t put any Mae Young Classics competitiors in there as I don’t feel that any of them should be in it in my humble opinion.
I am going to come out and say that the winner will Becky Lynch and this will start a hell turn against Charlotte at Wrestlemania.

PREDICTION: Well, this is going to be a very difficult one to call, but if I was thinking WWE, it would probably be Roman Reigns but whom I would like to win: Finn Balor
Yes, I am being biased for choosing Irish people for the winners of the Royal Rumble, but to be honest with you, both of them have a really good chance of winning. I could be well surprised as I didn’t know that Randy Orton was going to win last year….no one seen that coming.
Anyway, that is my Part 1 done, I will have Part 2 with the predictions for the other matches in the next day or so!
