WWE Clash of Champions PPV 2020 Predictions

This weekend would be the 4th Clash of Champions PPV (Named after ‘Night of Champions’) and features nothing but title matches as every title is on the line.

Here are my predictions:

  • Bayley (C) vs Nikki Cross for the SmackDown Women’s Championship
    • PREDICTION: Bayley to retain.
    • UPDATE – 21:14 IST – This match is off.

  • The Street Profits (C) vs Andrade & Angel Garza for the RAW Tag Team Championship
    • PREDICTION: Andrade & Angel to become new Tag Champs

  • Bobby Lashley (C) vs Apollo Crews for the United States Championship
    • PREDICTION: Bobby Lashley to retain.

  • Jeff Hardy (C) vs AJ Styles vs Sami Zayn (C?) in a Triple Threat Winner Take All Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship
    • PREDICTION: Jeff to become the correct champion and retain.

  • Asuka (C) vs Zelina Vega for the RAW Women’s Championship
    • PREDICTION: Zelina with the steal and becomes NEW Women’s Champion.
  • Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro (C) vs Lucha House Party for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.
    • PREDICTION: Shinsuke and Cesaro to retain.

  • Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler (C) vs The Riott Squad for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
    • PREDICTION: Ruby & Liv to finally win Tag gold. You can see it coming.

  • Drew McIntyre vs Randy Orton in a Ambulance Match for the WWE Championship
    • PREDICTION: Randy to become champion…. Yup, I said it!

  • Roman Reigns (C) vs Jey Uso for the Universal Championship
    • PREDICTION: Roman squashes Jey (Thanks for coming ‘uce)

Some of these matchups were a coinflip for me and I tried to also think ‘What if WWE pulls the trigger on say… Zelina being Women’s Champion? Randy being champion again… beating DREW?! That would be huge!’
