We are picking up from this weeks War on Wednesday

AEW had 2 title matches bookending the show. AEW World Tag Team Champions, The Elite defended their titles against Jimmy Havoc and Kip Sabian.

The newly crowned Cody, defended his AEW TNT Championship against Marko Stunt who won a battle royale last week on Dynamite.

On the USA Network, you had NXT with their go-home show for NXT TakeOver: In Your House which is happening on Sunday! The main event saw El Hijo del Fantasma defeat Drake Maverick to become the Interim NXT Crusierweight Champion.

The show capped off with Triple H coming out and giving Maverick a NXT contract. Hopefully this is start of something special for Drake.
