SPOILER from NJPW The New Beginning In Osaka

At the NJPW event called “The New Beginning in Osaka”, there was a rather interesting development.

Bullet Club leader Jay “Switchblade” White (who became leader on December 22nd 2018) defeated the IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Hiroshi Tanahashi to become the NEW IWGP Heavyweight Champion!

Tanahashi’s 8th reign with the title only lasted a mere 38 days after he won it from departing Kenny Omega at Wrestle Kingdom 13.
