"Mean" Gene Okerlund passed away at 76

It has been reported via WWE.com, that former interviewer for WWE, WCW and the NWA, “Mean” Gene Okerlund has passed away at the age of 76.

The WWE Hall of Famer was known for some of the best interviews in the industry during the 80’s and the 90’s.

During his career, he was in 4 matches, 2 for WWE and 2 for WCW.

He team with Hulk Hogan in 1984 to take on the team of George “The Animal” Steele and Mr. Fuji in which he won!

His last match was only in 2012 when he teamed with Sheamus to take on Alberto Del Rio & Daniel Bryan on an episode of SmackDown.
