Alberto El Patron Suspended from GFW

It was reported today that Global Force Wrestling champion, Alberto El Patron (aka, Alberto Del Rio in WWE) has been suspended with the following statement:
Global Force Wrestling has indefinitely suspended Alberto El Patron, effective immediately, until the investigation is resolved following a recent incident in Orlando, Florida.
Who knows what this will mean for the championship, the character and the career of Alberto but we hope that this issue is resolved soon and that he returns to the ring.
My thoughts:
The details around this have been a few and far in between with different parties claiming that there has been domestic abuse towards Paige, Paige abusing him (by throwing a drink at him) and countless others that other sites have already reported on.
What does this mean for Paige?
She is still technically signed to WWE but hasn’t been seen in TV in well over a year. We know that she is still “injured” (Not kayfabe) and is not under suspension. This is giving her a bit of a bad image and after the year that Paige has had this year, would she want to return to a ring, let alone, a WWE ring?
At this point, I would like to believe that Paige’s reputation within the WWE has been tarnished and her trying to get back into the good books of other people on the roster is not going to happen and not any time soon.
In fact, it may be best for her to drop back down to NXT for a while if she decides to come back and maybe bring with her a re-package which would should give her a new lease of life, but who knows.
What do you think about this suspension? Was it justified and what do you think is going to be the outcome of this “investigation” that GFW is carrying out? Let me know in the comments section and let’s get a discussion started!
